Third year boarders from School House and Crescent
took a trip up the Thames to Oxford in an assault boat
and a Royal Navy workboat. They travelled through
Sandford Lock, stopping for lunch, and on up to Iffley.
First and second year boys thoroughly

The annual trip to the battlefields was both
fascinating and thought provoking for the 48
boys who took part. The boys saw where OAs
are commemorated at the Pozières British
Cemetery and the Arras memorial.
