Abingdon Impact Report 2019-2022

Abingdon 6th formers have taught English lessons, organised art, drama and music sessions, led film- making and photography workshops, and run lots of sporting activities, even managing to successfully introduce the concept of cricket to Moldova. Agape and SSNAP are the main chosen charities for Abingdon School. We have worked in partnership with Agape, a charity that helps disadvantaged young people in Moldova supplying school equipment to deprived school students in one of Europe’s poorest countries, for more than 20 years. The children in Moldova opening their Christmas presents in 2021 funded by the project. 20 years £100,000 In January 2022, the total Abingdon has raised for Agape over the last 20 years surpassed £100k. The project is not only about fundraising but also about instilling a desire to make a difference in the lives of those less fortunate.
