Over the last five years, working in partnership with other schools has become an embedded aim of the School. The School is a founding member of the OX14 Learning Partnership, a new formal Independent and State School Partnership made up of six schools in the local area; Abingdon, Fitzharrys, Larkmead, John Mason, Radley College, St Helen and St Katharine. Its aim is to provide opportunities for students and staff across Abingdon to be challenged, inspired and learn from each other as well as providing mental health and wellbeing support across the partnership. T H E A B I N G D O N F O U N D AT I O N | 1 2 We are delighted to continue working with local schools as part of this partnership. We have the same vision; that our children access the best learning opportunities and that our staff excel... OX14 is founded on these principles. Sarah Brinkley, Executive Headteacher of Abingdon Learning Trust Each school operates differently but we all have so much to learn from one another by sharing best practice. Rob Southwell-Sander, Director of Partnerships at Abingdon School The partnership gives us the opportunity to look at things from a different perspective, particularly when dealing with equality and diversity and social issues we, as young people, face. Student Voice member I really enjoyed the experience. I would highly recommend it to others as it gives you skills which you can’t be taught in a classroom and can only learn in the sessions.
