Year 1 read ‘Finding Winnie’, the true story of the bear who inspired Winnie-the-Pooh, set during WW1. FINDING WINNIE Reception celebrated the Chinese New Year of the Tiger. We decorated cakes with tigers and took some to Craig, who taught us that it was not just any tiger, but a Water Tiger! We returned to the classroom where our friends had been chopping vegetables for our feast. There were rice and egg noodles, crackers, peppers, corn, mangetouts, oranges, prawn crackers and traditional sweets. A huge thank you to the parents who sent things in to share.
