6 January 2022 Abingdon News Dragon’s Den Partnership primary schools enjoyed an exciting Dragon’s Den marketing challenge to design a fruity snack that would appeal to younger people. With the assistance of sixth formers who study Business, the teams created a selection of tasty and innovative products. The presentations were very impressive and the pupils responded excellently to the panel’s questions. Multisport camp Forty-nine of this year’s new first years took part in the annual multisport camp, trying a wide range of sports and activities before the start of term. Lower school boys were given the chance to show their classmates a piece of work that they are particularly proud of in the first Work Exhibition of the year. A wide selection of work was on display from shoe drawings in art to spy stories and found poems in English, and from history investigations to Latin translation exercises. Lower School Work Exhibitions Warhammer Club The Lower School Warhammer Club completed the construction and painting of several of their armies and, with some of the boys bringing in models from home to increase their firepower, battle has now well and truly commenced!
