The Second Year welcomed the opportunity to get together at PGL Liddington - abseiling, raft building, mastering the trapeze and zip wire and, despite the result, the communal experience of watching the Euro 2020 final together. The Silver and Gold groups took to the mountains of South Wales for their three and four day assessed expeditions. Students enjoyed magnificent views of the mountains and walked behind waterfalls. Students welcomed the opportunity to once more listen to the BBC Proms live in the wonderful surroundings of The Royal Albert Hall. The concert featured The Hallé Orchestra conducted by Sir Mark Elder. The BBC Proms PGL Liddington Fifth year scholars explore The fifth year academic scholars explored Oxford, visiting St Hilda’s College with OA Harry Walsh, and taking a tour of the Bodleian Library. In the afternoon the students enjoyed Wytham Woods. Duke of Edinburgh Expeditions 15 House of Lords Five lower sixth students attended an all party parliamentary engineering group lunch and debate on “Nuclear, the real story”.
