10 September 2021 Abingdon News The upper sixth members of the CCF took part in their final parade which was followed by the Senior NCOs handing over their duties to their lower sixth peers. The CCF staff would like to thank them for all their hard work and wish them all the best for the future. CCF leavers’ final parade A new cohort of Peer Support Leads has been appointed for the 2021/22 academic year. Fourteen students were selected to work in collaboration with students from Abingdon, Fitzharrys, John Mason, Larkmead, St Helen and St Katharine and Radley College as part of the growing partnership program. The students will be trained in safeguarding, listening and counselling skills before supporting the pastoral care of younger students within their own school. Peer Support Leads take up their posts Dr Neil Sanghvi spoke to around 25 lower sixth students, and pupils from our History and Politics Society, in a very entertaining lecture.
