10 July 2020 ABINGDON PREP NEWS 10 Abingdon Prep artists have been hard at work creating their ‘Lockdown Journals’ to visually record this time in their lives. After making their journals from scratch, they were encouraged to draw and paint ‘en plein air’ to record their surroundings at home. Some boys have included videos and photography as another tool to record what life is like currently, as well as creating some wonderful watercolour paintings of their gardens, allotments and walks that they have enjoyed. We hope that the journals will be tucked into memory boxes as a fond reminder of all the positive activities they experienced throughout this time. See more ART
