OA CLUB
Summer term
Friday 9 May
50s and 60s Event: London
Richard Leathem (1964) invites 50s/60s
OAs to a guided tour of the Temple
(including Da Vinci code crusader tombs),
Lincoln’s Inn, the Royal Courts of Justice
and a fine old ale house followed by a
memorable dinner and optional hotel and
theatre extension. Tour from 2.15 pm,
dinner from 7.30 pm charged at £55.

v Abingdon Vale Cricket Club
Match starts at 11.30 am and lunch
and tea will be provided for players.
Refreshments available for spectators and
a BBQ in the evening (weather permitting)

Tennis: OAs v Oxford Lawn Tennis Club
4.00 – 7.00 pm followed by refreshments.
A combination of singles and doubles
matches, as current boys and OAs fight it
out for the trophy. There is no charge for

Henley Royal Regatta
If Abingdon are still in the draw, OAs and
parents are invited for strawberries and
Pimm’s during the afternoon tea break at
the FASBC tent in Henley Cricket Club car
park. There is no charge for this event.
Michaelmas term
Saturday 20 September
Rugby: 1st XV v OAs, Abingdon School
The current 1st XV will play against a team
of recent leavers. Spectators are very
welcome to attend. There will also be a
match between older teams of OAs.

Open Day
OAs are very welcome to attend the
School Open Day from 11:30 am, and to
join the Club in a BBQ lunch from 12:30 pm.

Hong Kong Reception
A reception for OAs, current and former
parents, and friends of Abingdon School.
