Abingdon and St Helen’s Thinking Supper First years from Abingdon and St Helen’s met for a Joint Thinking Supper on World Book Day so naturally the topics for discussion revolved around books with the groups considering questions such as “what is the importance of books?” and “what would the world be like without books?”. After a pizza and salad supper, the groups presented their findings with many very thoughtful contributions from all the participants. Towards the end of term, lower school boys enjoyed a brief concert at the end of their weekly assembly. Lower School Assistants Hugo Leedham and Mike MacLennan have been passing on their musical expertise to lower school boys by running guitar jamming sessions during lunchbreaks.
