Hats off to Perry Tsai and Brian Ho, captain and vice-captain, for their work in coordinating sessions. The team has performed really well and are unbeaten. Promising players are coming through the ranks and we look forward to continued strong performance in the years to come. Upper sixth formers James Coombs and Charlie Atkinson played their final match for Wasps in the Academy League. Wasps U18s beat Leicester Tigers U18s finishing the season on a huge high with terrific performances from both the Abingdon boys. Wasps Academy The U18s secured a great 1 point win over Radley in the penultimate game of the season. The team has battled hard this term and won some close games. Even in defeat they held their heads high and gave 100% until the final whistle. Brian Lim and Vincent Chen have done a great job rallying the team as captains and leading by example on and off the court. Badminton Despite the many environmental and global challenges this term, the Football Club has had a successful season with 21 sides representing the School. The 1st XI made the 3rd round of the national ISFA Cup in their inaugural year in the competition, and a number of sides including the 3rd XI, U14 C and U14 D finished the term unbeaten. Congratulations to lower sixth former Toby Baker and third year Marius Williamson who were selected for the Wales ‘A’ Team in the British Schools’ International fixture, and to lower sixth former Will Shorrocks who was selected for the England ‘D’ Team in the same international fixture.
