Southbank Centre A group of middle school students heard the ten poets shortlisted for the T.S. Eliot Prize read from their work. The boys also took part in some creative writing at the National Poetry Library, a visit to the Southbank Book Market and the day was topped off with a tasty Japanese dinner. 13 House of Lords Lower sixth students enjoyed lunch and a lively discussion on becoming carbon neutral by 2050. Bielefeld The annual German exchange was another excellent experience for Abingdon and St Helen’s students. Geneva 46 lower sixth physicists took part in a four-day intensive trip visiting CERN, the History of Science Museum, the hydro-electric dam on Lake Geneva, the Observatoire Astronomique, Geneva University and a Tokamak fusion reactor.
