Out and About British Museum Ancient historians studied exhibits relevant to their exam courses with the fifth years focusing on Persian and early Roman history, and upper sixth formers looking at the sculptural programme from the Acropolis in Athens. The boys also enjoyed the special exhibition “Troy: myth and reality”. 12 Southampton University Lower sixth students took part in a workshop at the Electronic Engineering and Computer Science department, prototyping a heartbeat monitor on breadboards. They also toured the campus and the clean rooms used to create silicon chips and fibre optics. Seville Third year boys learnt to cook paella and thoroughly embraced the culture, sites, cuisine and sunshine in their Spanish exchange visit to Seville. 47 students and staff took to the slopes for the annual school ski trip.
