Out and About Banyoles During the Boat Club’s annual trip to the foothills of the Pyrenees, in addition to the rowing, the boys witnessed firsthand the independence protests taking place in Spain. 14 Moldova Nine sixth formers travelled to Eastern Europe at the start of the summer for the annual Moldova Project which is now in its 20th year. Working with our partner charity Agape, the boys organised two summer camps for Moldovan children. CCF adventure training included caving, canyoning, abseiling, climbing and even a ride on the rollercoasters at Blackpool Pleasure Beach! Ireland Besides watching and playing some excellent rugby, the U15 and U16 rugby tour included a visit to the Irish Houses of Parliament followed by a brilliant Q&A with the Justice and Equality Secretary, Jim O’Callaghan. Boys and staff enjoyed a once in a lifetime music tour to the Far East giving concerts at the British School in Tokyo, Toho High School in Nagoya, a big band gig in Kyoto and a final concert at St John’s Cathedral in Hong Kong.
