Out and About WW1 Battlefields Third years visited the WW1 battlefields of Belgium and France marking the poignant Last Post Ceremony at the Menin Gate. Outdoor Adventure Second years canoed, caved and climbed during their trip to the Plas Pencelli Centre in the Brecon Beacons. Freiburg and Strasbourg 1st and 2nd years spent two exciting days on the French- German border exploring the region and discovering its history. Amongst a myriad of activities, 52 first years tried abseiling, canoeing, raft building and the zip wire. They developed teamwork and problem solving skills and thoroughly enjoyed the challenge.
