It will be home to the Economics and Business Studies department and will also house the emerging Computer Studies department. There will be two new houserooms at first floor level with views over Waste Court field from the balcony. Valentine’s Day saw the members of the Older and Bolder group delighted by the boarders’ delicious heart-shaped homemade biscuits and some beautiful roses. They didn’t come away with any prizes this time, but scored well, and team B were pleased to end up beating team A! Sixty boarders took “Free Tours by Foot” as part of their recent trip to London. The walks were followed by an enjoyable few hours shopping and eating! Boarders expanded their culinary skills preparing gourmet burgers and spicy lamb kofta kebabs. Unperturbed by the snow, or the sub-zero temperatures, these delights were cooked to perfection on the barbecue, before being devoured in homemade bread rolls along with a delicious mint and lime Greek yoghurt.
