MFL Debating Competition Arguing about whether it’s better to be attacked by 20 chicken-sized horses or a singular horse-sized chicken is hard enough in English but proved considerably trickier in a foreign language. However, the eight Abingdon and two Saint Helen’s students who took part in the MFL debating competition at Cheltenham College were able to rise to the challenge! Healthy Pre-Christmas Sales for Young Enterprise The Young Enterprise teams made the most of the festive season with stands at the St Helen’s and Abingdon Prep Christmas fairs. Team “Paix” did extremely will with a range of Christmas items while Team “Water Works” took advanced orders for their colourful, collapsible water bottles and Team “Bamboozle” offered a range of passive mobile phone amplifiers, with a strong sustainability message.
